The Faces Behind Your Ultimate Borovets Powder Days
Welcome to skiborovets.bg! Meet the legends, magicians, and mountain enthusiasts behind Traventuria Borovets.

Juliana Vazharova
I have been a proud member of the Traventuria team since 2013, when we opened our very first ski shop in Bansko. Inspired by our vision, I took on the challenge of expanding our standards to Borovets, which has now grown into three fully-equipped shops running smoothly year-round. I spend my days developing our team’s skills and keeping everyone motivated, and I have a near-supernatural ability to spot a misfitted ski boot from across the shop.
Experience: Traventuria pioneer since day one in 2013; now managing 3 expanded shops in Borovets.
Superpower: Team leadership & guest relations—developing skills and building high-performing, happy teams.

Maria Kamenova
Living in Samokov, just a stone’s throw from Borovets, I bring over 15 years of local experience and a Master’s degree in Tourism Management to the team. Working in tourism is immensely rewarding for me because nothing beats seeing the genuine joy on people’s faces after a fantastic mountain getaway. I combine professional know-how with genuine local insight—I’ll solve your problem and point you to the best spot for lunch in the valley.
Experience: 20+ years in Borovets tourism with a Master’s degree in Tourism Management.
Superpower: Customer-oriented problem-solving delivered with infectious laughter.
Anelia Petrova
Precision, patience, and a friendly face are at the core of everything I do. As the first person you’ll meet at the till, I make sure every payment, rental agreement, and receipt is handled quickly and correctly, even when the shop is packed. Legend has it my queue moves faster than the lift line outside, and I always have a smile ready no matter how busy the day gets.
Experience: Extensive background in customer service, cash handling, and front-desk operations.
Superpower: Meticulous attention to detail paired with a warm, unflappable front-of-house manner.
Maria Okolska
As a student of International Economic Relations, I bring a global perspective and dynamic energy to Traventuria. I joined the team in the winter of 2023/24 as a holiday representative and rapidly took on expanded operational responsibilities. Negotiating deadlines and group projects at university makes handling peak-season ski shop rushes feel like a walk in the park, and I make sure every international guest feels welcomed and perfectly set up for their stay.
Experience: Joined as a Holiday Rep in winter 2024/25 and rapidly stepped into expanded operational roles.
Superpower: Dynamic problem-solving, global communication, and high-energy guest care.
Atanas Atanasov
At the front desk, I’m often the first face you’ll see, matching every guest with the right skis, boots, and bindings for their level and the day’s conditions. Behind the scenes, I set precise DIN values and handle the technical fine-tuning that keeps rental gear performing safely on the mountain. Years of hands-on experience mean I can spot the right fit at a glance, so you spend less time in the shop and more time on the slopes.
Experience: Senior specialist combining front desk guest service with technical ski fitting and gear setup.
Superpower: Sharp-eyed fitting expertise paired with genuinely helpful, no-rush guest service.
Ivan Todorov
Energy, dedication, and precision are what drive my work every single day. Known as the man who never sleeps, I run our ski service shop with relentless enthusiasm, specializing in expert tuning, base repairs, and precise hot waxing matched to current snow conditions. My hot-wax jobs are fast enough that guests joke I must have a second pair of hands hidden somewhere.
Experience: Veteran Ski & Snowboard Service Specialist focused on base tuning, repairs, and custom waxing.
Superpower: Unlimited human battery life and obsessive tuning precision for maximum slope speed.
Denis Savov
As a member of the next generation of our team, I joined Traventuria during the 2024/25 season while finishing high school. Now a first-year university student, I balance academics with dual operational duties in the shop, seamlessly switching between front-of-house guest service and technical workshop repairs. I bring polite, responsible, fresh energy to every shift, proving you can study macroeconomics while adjusting ski bindings perfectly.
Experience: Joined in winter 2024/25 while in high school; now balancing university with dual shop roles.
Superpower: Polite, dependable adaptability across both technical gear service and front-line guest support.
Julian Ugrev
A former ski instructor with years spent living in the UK, I bring mature expertise and fluent English to Traventuria. My decades on the snow give me a deep, practical understanding of equipment performance, and I combine technical gear tuning with a sharp British sense of humor. I’ll fit your boots with surgical precision and leave you laughing all the way to the gondola.
Experience: Former ski instructor with extensive UK living experience and fluent English.
Superpower: Mature gear-fitting expertise paired with world-class quick wit.
