Ski in Borovets on the 12th and 13th of March and help children suffering from spina bifida and hydrocephaly.
We here at Ski & Board Traventuria wish to support the organization “Association Spina Bifida and Hydrocephaly – Bulgaria”, which helps families affected by these diseases. Every client will have the opportunity to rent ski and snowboard equipment and pay a sum of their choosing. Ski & Board Traventuria will then donate all income made over the weekend from rentals and repair services in Borovets to organize a summer camp for children affected by spina bifida and hydrocephaly.
You can help out during the course of the weekend by renting equipment, servicing your own equipment or just by making a donation in Traventuria’s rental shop, which is located in hotel “Ela” (click for map). A parent from the organization will be in the shop to accept donations and give more information about the summer camp and the organization itself.
The summer camp for 2016 will be the third national meeting in Bulgaria for children affected by spina bifida and hidroefalia and their families. The community is small and spread out all over the country. That’s why such meetings are an unforgettable experience for the kids and a unique opportunity for parents to meet and share knowledge and helpful tips.
Spina bifida and hydrocefaly are birth defects which affect many functions of the human body. Despite this, with the help of proper treatment, people affected by these diseases can lead a full and happy lifestyle. Informing parents and financial help are key to caring for the children. This is why such camps are so important for us and you support is priceless.
