Winter has decided to keep its promise and to make us very happy! One more week is over and the skiing conditions still remain wonderful. With our weekly snow report we aim to keep you updated with the latest information about the resort. During the past week the weather was quite pleasant, mostly warm and sunny until Wednesday. After that as it was predicted in the forcast, snowfall started on Thursday and we had around 23 cm fresh snow cover. It is expected by the end of the month the temperatures to remain low and the snowfall to continue. Another important notice which is worth mentioning – the resort management announced that the prices of the lift passes after 16th of March will be reduced!

Lifts & Slopes
The bigger part of the resort stays open. All the lifts are operating. The closed slopes are the same like the previous week. Non-operating pistes so far are Cherveno zname, Sport Center Bistritsa, Sitnyakovo #2, Sitnyakovo royal residence ski way. Fonfon and Markudjik 2A just partly open. Yastrebets #1 lower part from mid station and Borokids park remained closed as well. Not all the slopes were well groomed due to the recent snowfall. In the morning hours during the weekend some parts were icy, however there was no fog and the visibility was good. Please, pay attention that the avalanche warning in the area of Musala circus beyond Markudjik 3 Ski Run is very high.

Snow cover & Forecast
After the warm weather in the beggining of the week, there was snowfall and lower temperatures. As a result of that the levels of the snow cover remains the same – is in the upper parts 190 cm and in the lower parts around 130 cm. The weather forcast for the upcoming week predicts cold weather and daily snowfalls. In addition, there is possibility for winds. The temperatures will remain low between -2 and -13 degrees. It looks like we will be enjoying some more great skiing days till the end of the month. Expect our next snow report with more details and information!
