February is almost gone and it is time for our weekly snow report! On a regular basis, we strive to keep you updated with the latest information about the resort. The weather surprised us with high temperatures and lots of sun, however, the skiing conditions were more than good. As usual, the weekend was busier than the weekdays. This caused small queues, but mainly in the morning hours.

Blue sky, sun, and slopes let’s not miss it!

Slopes & Lifts

A big part of the ski zone was functioning. The slope Sitnyakovo #1 was just partially open. The other closed slopes were Cherveno zname, Yastrebets #1 lower part from mid-station, which was quite foggy on Sunday morning, the Musala pathway, and Sport center “Bistrica”. Markudjik slope was in a good shape despite the sunny weather. All of the lifts are operating. The waiting time during the weekend was not more than 20 minutes.

Snow cover & Forecast

We had quite warm weather during the past week. The temperatures in the morning were hardly going below 0. Day temperatures were reaching almost from +15 to +17 degrees. The snow cover on the top of the mountain around the area of Markudjik remains around 190 cm and 130 cm at the lower parts of the mountain. Next week is expected the temperatures to start going down and some fresh snow to fall during the weekend! Some more great skiing days are coming ahead, so let’s get ready! Expect more information about skiing conditions in our next snow report!
