Another snow report from our team! As you already know, we always share with you the current conditions in the resort in a weekly snow report. During the last days, it was a bit rainy and not very sunny, unfortunately. But snow is in the forecast for the upcoming weekend, which excites us much!
Lifts & Slopes
This morning, many of the slopes weren’t open for skiing. Two of the pistes of Sitnyakovo were closed, so only SItnyakovo #3 was open. The Markudjik Ski Center remains closed. The Musalenska pathway is also closed. The slopes of Martinovi Baraki and Popangelov are open for skiers. The highest areas as the Yastrebets slopes are icy. As for the lifts, all are working except for the Gondola lift of Yastebets, Markudjik #2, as well as the surface lifts of Markudjik Ski Center.
Snow Cover & Forecast
The last snowfall was at the beginning of the week, but it was light and brought around only 2-3 cm of snow. Significant snowfall is expected in the upcoming weekend. In the next few days, the temperatures will get low – around -14°C on Sunday morning. So dress well when going skiing! As of today, the snow cover in the highest areas is around 160 cm, while in the lowest, it is around 95 cm. Keeping our fingers crossed for much snow in the upcoming days!
Night Skiing
In comparison with last week, the queue for the night skiing is not much than 5 minutes during weekdays. At the weekend, the resort gets busier, so the queues are longer. But again, there are no more than 15 minutes waiting time.
