After the heavy snow over the past weekend, we are back to update you on the skiing conditions and the new snow cover in Borovets.
Snow and Slopes
As of today snow and skiing conditions are more than great in Borovets.
Lots of sun, no wind and perfectly groomed slopes contribute to a day full of happy skiing/snowboarding.
Markudjitsi (1, 2A and 2B) have been in top shape since the beginning of the week with fewer people and snow quite firm, especially in the mornings after the snow grooming machines have done their job.
Haramia down to the middle station offers some of the best skiing conditions and rides. Snow on Yastrebetz 1 slope is very firm and tight.
Martinovi Baraki slopes got quite busy yesterday after 10:30 am, but after all the conditions of the snow were fine and able to handle the crowds. Together with Sitnyakovo 1, 2 and 3, these slopes have ice bases, but the new snow has covered it successfully and skiing/snowboarding conditions are very good on these slopes as well.
Snow cover reaches 125 cm in the lower parts of the resort and 135 cm in the highest parts.
