Our newest snow report from the slopes of Borovets will update you on current snow conditions at the resort.
Read on, get your skis/snowboards and hit the slopes!
Snow and Slopes
Half-term break week is over and crowds are less. However, the resort is still busy, but not as it was last week.
Snow conditions are good despite the warmer temperatures in the afternoons. However, snow gets softer and wetter after lunchtime, especially in the lower parts of the resort such as Sitnyakovo slopes. Martinovi Baraki slopes had a hard and icy base with snowy dust on top of it today afternoon.
In the higher parts of the resort such as Yastrebets and Markudjitsi areas, the snow is very settled with a solid firm base, offering great skiing conditions.
Open Slopes
All slopes are open except for Markudjik 3, Yastrebets 1 lower part from mid-station down and Evacuation ski way Musala. Sitnyakovo 1 and Sitnyakovo Royal Residence Ski Way are partly open. One new update is that Fun Park Borovets is open, too.
Open Lifts
All lifts are open except for Drag lift Markudjik 3.
Night Skiing
Another good news is the night skiing is back. Tomorrow (22.02), Friday (23.02) and Saturday (24.02) night skiing in Borovets will be open.
Weather Forecast
A dusting of new snow is expected for today after 6 pm with freeze-thaw conditions (max 4°C on Friday (23.02) afternoon, min from -5 to -9°C on Wednesday (28.02) night, especially for the upper parts of the resort). Wind will be generally light.
