Greetings from snowy Borovets! As the resort is getting busier we are here to update you on the current snow conditions.
Snow and Slopes
The spring-like weather we had in the past few days was a bit harsh on the snow conditions, however, slopes are still in decent condition in the lower parts of the resort and much better at the higher ones.
Morning rides are ok, but in the afternoons the snow gets heavy, soft and slushy. Only one of the Markudjitsi slopes is open.
Lifts and Queues
There are no crowds, however, this will change over the weekend and the next week as the half-term break starts Monday.
Due to the warm temperatures, night skiing is currently not open. We will keep you posted if it opens again next week. Stay tuned with our Instagram account @traventuria_ski_borovets.
Weather Forecast
New snow is expected for Sunday (11.02). Drizzle at first, then turning colder with dusting of snow on Monday (12.02) morning and afternoon. Temperatures will be below freezing (max 0°C on Monday afternoon, min -3°C on Tuesday night). Wind will be generally light.
