It’s been a busy summer for us here at Ski & Board Traventuria in Borovets and as a result, we have many new things in store for our clients during the 2017/18 winter season. We’ve doubled in size, upgraded our rental equipment (as we do every year), received TripAdvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence” for the second time in a row and have become the sole partner of Sport Depot in Borovets, among other things. We’ve Doubled in Size
Probably the first new thing returning customers will notice is our new facade and that we’ve doubled the floor space in our rental shop. Now we have even more room for equipment fitting, more personal storage lockers, a dedicated shop section and more staff to make sure things go faster. We’ve redesigned and optimized the interior and made full use of every square centimeter. We’re still at the same great location, less than 50m from the gondola in hotel Ela. This year we have a total of 8 instructors and 10 people working with clients in our rental shop.
Along with our floor space, our rental equipment has also increased by 350 new pairs of skis and snowboards. Read more HERE.
Bigger Shop, More Goods and New Rental Clothing.
For this season we will be the official and only partner of Sport Depot in Borovets and we’ve dedicated some of our newly acquired space exactly for this purpose. You can expect to find a wide variety of equipment and ski/snowboard accessories for sale. We’ll have in stock a variety of hats, balaclavas, body protection, helmets and base layers. Just like previous years, you can also buy the equipment you rented and your rental tax will be deducted from the final price.
We’ve also got new rental clothing, for those of you who don’t have your own ski jacket and pants. This year we have sizes ranging from S to 7XL with a good waterproof and breathability rating. The price for a set is only 15 lev per day.

New Personal Storage Lockers
One of the most notable new additions to our rental shop is the new lockers we’ve installed. Our new lockers now come equipped with their own boot and glove drying system integrated into the locker itself. Each locker easily fits two pairs of skis, boots and gloves. We still have all of our normal lockers as well. If you would like to take advantage of our new lockers, you can select them during the booking procedure. If you’re planning on coming during the New Years or Mid-term breaks, it’s good to book your’s in advance to guarantee your storage space.
