The new ski season is on the horizon and Ski & Board Traventuria is busy setting up the brand new equipment we’ve received over the off-season. For season 2020/21 we have prepared for our dear guests the latest offerings from HEAD, Rossignol, Fischer, Atomic, K2, Elan. As every year now, we have upgraded more than a third of the equipment we have in stock. We have great sets for adults and kids at all levels!
We will make the experience of skiers and snowboarders at every age unforgettable!
Premium equipment
The new boots, skis, and boards in our shop fall into the premium category. When booking your ski package online, you will have to choose between both options basic or premium. Selecting the premium option gives you access to better and newer equipment than the Basic Package and the option to upgrade your skis/board to TOP or VIP models. This lineup consists mostly of last year’s new TOP skis and nothing used more than 1 season. You will find models of 2019/20 of Elan, HEAD, Fischer, Atomic, Salomon. Please note, that this equipment is recommended for skiers at levels 1-3: beginners and learners.
TOP Line & VIP Line
A step further, you can choose the TOP and VIP supplement of the Premium equipment. You’ll have access to brand new 20/21 models. All of these skis still have the plastic wrapping on them, until their first rental and afterward are fully serviced after each rental.
Our TOP and VIP lines will surprise you!
We have TOP skis suitable for beginners to advanced skiers, levels 1-6. Our team on spot will be happy to assist you with choosing the best model for you! The most prevalent characteristic of this ski line is that they are forgiving, yet consistent skis, perfect for beginners, but won’t slow down a more advanced skier.
The greatest advantage of this VIP supplement is that you can change your skis on a daily basis in order to try as much as you can! Our staff will be happy to assist you when the weather conditions are changing or the skis you’ve tried do not suit your skiing style. Brand new for the season, we have stocked top-of-the-line models: HEAD, NORDICA, ELAN, ATOMIC, FISCHER, ROSSIGNOL, SALOMON, STÖCKLI, DYNASTAR, VOLKL. of These skis are best suited for advanced to expert skiers, levels 4-9. We don’t suggest this line for people who have never been skiing before, as the VIP skis are race and powder skis (not rental models) and aren’t suitable for beginners.
Boots
When it comes to comfort when skiing, the first thing we usually think of is the boots. Like every year, we’ve replaced a large amount of our rental stock with brand new boots. We have a wide variety of models from Head, Fischer, Dalbello, Rossignol, Alpina Nordica, and Tecnica. Our team is always happy to change your boots in case they don’t fit you well or you find them uncomfortable. Keep in mind that all boot makes and models differ in fit, so don’t despair if the first pair of boots you try isn’t comfortable, and feel free to take your time during the fitting process.
These new ski boots will soon be placed on the shelf, while the old ones will be older models will be taken out of service.
Our new snowboard boots are all equipped with the BOA lacing system. This system replaces the traditional shoelaces with metal ones, which contract by turning a knob. This makes for much easier on and off and a more secure fit. New models for this year from Salomon and Head, with many pairs of small and children’s sizes.
Brand New Snowboard Equipment
Burton, K2 and Elan are the main brands we’ve stocked with 2020/21 models. We have a wide variety of sizes, suitable for kids and adults. Bindings are adjusted for each client depending on their shoe size, leading foot, and any personal preferences.
Rental Clothing & Accessories
We also offer rental clothing and protective gear. We have ski jackets and pants in a wide range of sizes with good waterproof and breathability ratings. For protection, we offer helmets and goggles for rent, which you can order during the booking procedure. We also have brand new equipment for sale in our shop from a variety of brands.
