Luckily for skiers, snowfalls started early in Bulgaria this year in mid of November which helped Borovets start the season early with almost completely functioning resort. For the opening weekend, all major slopes of the resort such as Yastrebets 1, 2 & 3, Markudjik 1&2 and Martinovi Baraki, were opened and perfectly groomed.

Night skiing was also officially opened this same weekend and skiers from all over the world were able to enjoy it from 6:30 to 10PM.
